Marvel fans have been eagerly anticipating the release of The Marvels, the latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), and the recent teaser trailer has only added to the excitement. The film, set to hit theaters on November 10, features three powerful superheroes teaming up for a mission that will change “everything and everyone,” according to the teaser.
The trailer introduces us to Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) being hurled into another dimension and Kamala Khan, also known as Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani), travelling through space to meet Nick Fury, played by Samuel L. Jackson. We also see Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) battling aliens and being surprised by cutouts of herself plastered all over Kamala’s bedroom walls.
The teaser also showcases South Korean actor Park Seo-joon in a Loki-like avatar, adding to the excitement of the upcoming film.
Marvel Entertainment unveiled the teaser on Twitter with the caption, “Teaming up changes everyone. Marvel Studios’ #TheMarvels, only in theaters November 10.” The Marvels is the sequel to the 2019 film Captain Marvel, with Brie Larson reprising her role as the titular superhero. Joining her are Iman Vellani, the breakout star of the Disney+ series Ms. Marvel, and Teyonah Parris, who made her Marvel debut in WandaVision.
The film is directed by Nia DaCosta and co-written by Megan McDonnell, Elissa Karasik, and Zeb Wells. Along with the three leads, the film also stars Samuel L. Jackson and Zawe Ashton.
